Poker Movies on Television

Every now and again, we are lucky enough to see our favorite poker movies scheduled on television. Even better is when we hear about new poker movies coming out at the cinemas.

One of the greatest poker movies of all time is “Rounders“, starring Matt Damon and Edward Norton. It’s also one of those movies that if you flick channels and happen to catch a couple of minutes of, you can’t turn it off. The movie is so popular because it has a great cast, awesome quotes and the poker game is focused around No Limit Texas Hold’em.

There is no denying it, whether its scripted scenes in a movie, the latest cash game on High Stakes Poker or the edge of your seat action of World Series of Poker re-runs, we love to watch poker on television.
